    Worked on the development of a comprehensive REST API for the CERVO system (Online Reservation and Sales Center) that facilitates the search, quotation, reservation, and issuance of tourist packages. Implemented SOAP and REST protocols to integrate service providers such as flights, tours, accommodations, and travel insurance, resulting in a significant optimization of reservation management. This project allowed me to apply my experience with PHP 8.2, Laravel, and MariaDB, ensuring a robust and scalable system.

    In addition, I improved the system's efficiency by automating key processes, such as obtaining vouchers, issuance receipts, and adding the ability to share quotes through personalized templates. I was also responsible for designing and maintaining development, testing, and production environments, providing solutions that guaranteed stability and security throughout all stages of its life cycle.

  • Microservice and REST API Developer in C++ · Grupo Spartan

    Porlamar, Venezuela | -

    Modernized a restaurant management system by developing a REST API in C++ for the CD Bleu POS system. This API allows real-time communication through sockets, facilitating order management, kitchen orders, billing, reporting, and handling of rates and multicurrency. In addition, I made the system cross-platform, ensuring its compatibility with a wide range of devices and operating systems, which significantly improved the system's flexibility and functionality.

    I also developed a microservice in C++ that unified communication between fiscal equipment, such as printers and scales, using RS-232 serial communication. This API is compatible with the protocols of different manufacturers, optimizing billing and reporting processes.

    Furthermore, I designed a tool in C++ that automates the update of Firebird databases for clients by comparing structures with a reference database, eliminating the need for manual SQL scripts and increasing the efficiency of the technical support team.

In addition, by transforming a legacy system into a multi-platform and real-time solution, I demonstrated my ability to innovate in changing technological environments.

Data Analysis

This project focuses on developing a simple application for handling and analyzing large volumes of data, leveraging the advanced capabilities of relational databases. The main objective is to create an efficient solution that demonstrates my mastery in structuring and optimizing SQL queries, as well as in implementing advanced data management techniques.

My main motivation is to explore materialized views, table partitions, and complex query optimization.

Since I started my programming career, I've had the opportunity to contribute to challenging projects that have allowed me to develop meticulous attention to detail and a passion for efficiency.
